I'm sure everyone's heard this by now, but Carrie Fisher has died at the young age of sixty. Princess Leia has been my favourite fictional AND Star Wars character, since I was introduced to the Star Wars universe in the third grade. Now, many, MANY years later, I sit in my house and cry myself to sleep tonight because I've lost my role model, my inspiration, my hero. She was confident, beautiful, smart, strong, bad butt and truly amazing. This incredible woman shaped my childhood, and I owe her many thanks for helping me keep my chin up in times of great distress. You are amazing, Princess. Rest forever in peace.
