LETS TALK SONIC X REAL QUICK BECAISE I NEED TO MAKE THIS VERY CLEAR

I watched the entire Sonic X Series 1 and 2 English version in three days. After finishing all 78 episodes, I wanted to watch the Japanese version, but didn't want to rewatch the entire series just to see It In Japanese. So, instead of rewatching all 78 episodes in Japanese, I decided that I'd pick out the best scenes from both Series and watch them in both Japanese and English, to see how big of a difference there was between them. So, I spent a while recalling all of the scenes that really left a memory in my head, wrote them all down, and then went back and rewatched those scenes in both the Japanese and English versions. Cosmo's death was among them.

Some of the scenes were better in English, others were better in Japanese. For this scene, I liked the Japanese version much better.

While I never really did like Cosmo, I didn't want her to die. Watching the English version made me a little sad, but I felt that something was missing from Tails' reaction. I think that if you were going to kill someone as important to the plot as Cosmo was, you could at least make the reaction of her friends a lot stronger, so the watchers could really feel something. After rewatching her death and Tails' reaction in Japanese, I found myself to be much more crushed and sorrowful by her death than I was when watching the English version, all because of Tails' reaction.

Tails and Cosmo were in love. *In love.* Tails may not be a human, but he thinks and acts like one, so he is perfectly vulnerable to feeling just as sad, just as happy, just as in love, just as afraid as humans do. Tails *loved* Cosmo. He was supposed to be angry, to be sad, to be depressed, and to be heartbroken by Cosmo's death. Tails didn't believe it. He *couldn't* believe it. He was in denial, he was heartbroken. He loved Cosmo, and now she was gone. And that was something we didn't see as much as we should have in the English version.

And it wasn't only that. Tails believed Sonic would save her. Even if Sonic had been angry with Tails at the time, Tails *trusted* Sonic to save Cosmo, to keep her safe. And Sonic didn't. Can you even imagine how betrayed Tails would have felt at that moment? He trusted Sonic, loved him like the brother he never had, and believed with his entire being that Cosmo would be safe thanks to Sonic. And in the end, Sonic didn't save her. That kind of hurt takes a *long* time to go away.

And it made the situation even more *worse* than it was before that Tails had to kill her.

          	  Let me repeat that:

*TAILS* had to *KILL* Cosmo, the girl he *LOVED.* He loved this girl so much he had to be persuaded by *Dr. Eggman* to kill her. Do you even know how much that would hurt, to kill the one you loved in such a dark and terrible way, where she is sacrificing her own life to save yours? And you know deep in your mind that this was inevitable, and there's no way to get around it?

This scene totally crushed me. And it crushed me even more to think about it and know that because of all those reasons I stated above, it *destroyed* Tails.

Love and Death are two things that are not to be toyed or messed with, or portrayed in the wrong way. The unexplainable feelings of love you feel for a person can raise you to Cloud 9, and then the overwhelming feelings of grief and denial that surround you once that person is dead can bury you in the dirt.

I think the Japanese version really hit the nail on the head with how hard Tails was hit when Cosmo died, and how he should have reacted to her death. Good job Japan.

Why does every Sakamaki Sister fanfiction involve incest? In my opinion, it's disgusting and wrong. It doesn't matter to me how much blood relation you have to someone, if you are having sex/sexual intercourse with someone who has a blood relation to you, its incest and its disgusting

I get that its just an anime but reading that kind of thing just makes my skin crawl.
