@Archer634  well for me, I just grew up writing like that. I've tried third person but always end up accidentally writing first person again! But I think the way you write is equally as good and easy. It's all just preference :) 

Btw, I noticed you're writing in first person, and I was wondering if you felt it was easier than how I am writing, should I go through and switch?
