To the 36 followers of mine, and to any casual reader, I hope this message finds you well and healthy. 
          I know it has been ages since the last update, and if you have been having a good read so far and expected an update I'm sorry. 
          This is something I really didn't want to face, but just because I don't want to think or talk about it, doesn't mean that it's not real. 
          I think I outgrew the "shatter me phase".  
          I still love kenji and rosa, and there were some things that I wished to see in the sm series, but I didn't so I decided to experiment with it through checkmate. 
          At the start of my book, I mentioned that it was a way to get my thoughts out. 
          Good news is, I do not plan on discontinuing this (although I did consider archiving it) but updates will take a while. 
          All I have left to say is damn being an adult is hard. All those responsibilities and emotions are dumped on you all at once. 
          One final thing if you made it till here, I hope you are well. You mean a lot to me. I love you!! Greatly ;) <3

Hello hello
          Sorry guys for the disappearance. I just have so many important things to do, and free time is a luxury. I had way more time in hs than I do right now in uni. I don't know when I might update (especially that I lost the drive to write, I feel like I lost connection with kenji and Rosa and the shatter me series as a whole) but I'll try my best to come back soon. 
          Enough about me, how are you guys doing??

2000 reads??? Thanks guys..I don't want to be that person but I don't know if I want to continue writing or not. We didn't even reach the main plot though. I was thinking of ending it by ignite me but I have some ideas for the books that come after. Seeing my motivation levels though I don't know what to expect. Anyway thank you guys so much for 2000 reads!!! Tons of love guyss <3
