She sat on a hard rough rock while the waves persistently envelops her cold wrinkled feet.

Even so, her brown eyes remained fixed to the horizon. The soft cotton-pink shade of the sky meeting the twinkling blues of the waves was less captivating than what was on the other side of the sea.

Squeezing her two hands together, she lingered further. She drew closer to her wonders, to her horizons.

"What does the future holds for me?" she whispered.
