Hi all you lovely people!
I just wanted to pay tribute to the man who started my love of comedy writing: Sir Terry Pratchett. I loved him from the very first book of his I picked up and my heart is broken that my hero and favourite word-world-wrangler is no more.
This is one of many favourite things the lovely man said:
'If you don’t turn your life into a story, you just become a part of someone else’s story.'
I love that.
Whatever you're doing today, I dare you to do something silly, just for a minute, even if nobody else sees it. Dance like a loon in your living room. Blow a raspberry at a passing bird. Or just take a moment to laugh at this bonkers, scary, wonderful thing called Life.
Most of all, have a chuckle. Because that was the greatest gift Terry gave us.
