Hey so it’s the 5th of November!! For non British, the 5th of November represents the day when guy Fawkes and his associates attempted to blow up parliament, the gunpowder plot, to kill the king because they didn’t agree with how he was ruling. So the king had promised to improve the lives of both Protestants and Catholics but didn’t (guy Fawkes and associates were catholic).
If you’re interested it is called the gunpowder plot.
