@RidaHusn No worries! Thank you for the follow as well :)

LovelyLivvi

Hi! I'm Livvi.

Thanks so much for your comment on my story, 'Handcuffs, Kisses and Awkward Situations'. To answer your question as to why I categorised my story as a mystery novel, it was a selection of reasons. Originally, the novel was under humour and teen fiction. Back then, the book was half the size it is now. I initially planned for the whole story to be written in Nora's perspective; a fun, lighthearted read. But when readers suggested adding more, I included Ryder's part. His half of the story was a lot messier. His included the complications within the plot and the resolution. As I was writing, I included more emphasis on the fire which lead to a more mysterious vibe as readers tried to guess who the culprit was.

When I finished writing, I wanted to enter into the Watty Awards, but when the categories were shown, I noticed that humour, my dominant genre, wasn't included (a genre I entered in last year). That left teen fiction, but that wasn't included either. I was then left with Adventure and Mystery-- two sub categories that I thought suited my novel. I actually contacted Wattpad about this and when an administrator replied back, he told me to think of plots like Indiana Jones to see if my story would fit Adventure. I didn't think it matched very well, so I selected Mystery.

This is, like, a whole essay, so I'm sorry for this! But I wanted to answer your question since you took the time to ask it. :)

Have a lovely day and thanks for reading!

@LovelyLivvi Oh, by the way, I forgot to add my congratulations to you for Wattpad adding 'the Taxi Driver' to their reading list! That's super awesome! I read it just the other day and I cannot believe that you just wrote that for NaNoWriMo! Did you edit it before posting it to Wattpad? I swear it is practically flawless!
By the way, I've been meaning to ask, what is the go with your self-publishing? I'd love to support you in anyway I can!

@LovelyLivvi I'm in love with your writing, of course I am going to read it! I'll be sure to let you know... although at this stage I highly doubt anything will be posted before mid November. Once the final exams are over, I'll go nuts with my writing! I've got to do something to keep my mind off just waiting around for my ATAR!

I think I've done fairly well so far, considering some of the things that have come up. I managed to get an 18.2 for English Comms so as long as I get that for each of my subjects, 90 is guaranteed. However, ideally I would like a 19 for most subjects :/ How have you gone with your assignments?

Oh my goodness! This whole summer I have been working my butt off (literally, I worked over 6 hours everyday for a months straight) so I can travel to USA at the end of November for 3 or so weeks.

Sounds like a good enough plan to me! As long as you have a goal and are willing to work hard to achieve it, I believe you can get there :) Are you planning on a gap year?

Thank goodness our school only makes us do religion until year 11. I'd hate to do it in year 12! Two English subjects? I'm assuming English is your best subject, then? I'm so glad English Comms doesn't have an exam, I'm good with most things related to English but writing a couple of essays and a comparison in three hours? English exams are so not my thing. Not to mention, it's very subjective. What one teacher thinks is an outstanding essay, another thinks is only mediocre. That's why I prefer science based subjects (can you tell? haha). Once you know what you are doing, it's pretty easy to get good marks.

@EmB210 Aw, thanks so much! That would be lovely, but you don't have to. And do tell me when you start posting your story! I'd love to read it once it's available. :3

Medicine, wow! Sounds amazing. Good luck with your studies. Have you done well so far with assignments and such? And procrastination should be a sport.

Thanks so much! To be honest, I still don't know what I want to do with my life. I'm just going to graduate with a head filled with dreams and zero money to fulfill them. I'd like to travel to The States though! I'm saving up for a trip. After that, I'll go to university and probably do a Bachelor of Arts or Business.

I'm taking Business, Biology (content overload), English Advanced, English Extension, Mathematics and Religion. (catholic school) :3
