I haven't been able to write lately because of my new job, and now my mother is in the hospital and very ill. I'll write again soon when I can, but right now I have to focus on my Mom getting better, and on learning my new job better. Sorry to disappoint, but I hope you'll all understand.

Chapter 11 of DTB: Ascension has been uploaded today! I already have the draft for my next chapter finished, it just needs a quick edit, but I'll add that one in another day or so. Also, a very happy birthday to my eldest son. 7 already!

Two chapters released in under a week, not bad to start out the new year. Chapter 10 of DTB: Ascension has just been released and I am currently working on Chapter 11. There are some parts coming up in the following chapters that I am really excited about, so I'm working my way there as best I can without rushing through it. Happy Reading!

Hi Emeraldfyre, I just wanted to thank you for updating DTB. I really enjoy your book and don't believe it gets as much recognition as it should. You're an amazing writer and I'm glad that you haven't been discouraged by the low amount of reads you have. Your series, I'm happy to say, is one of my favorite on Wattpad. I get very invested in the world and your characters. I'm always excited to see what the next chapter is going to bring. I've found myself emotionally attached to your characters (Nuria's story is very moving and I'm rooting for her and Byrn every second lol). I'm constantly awaiting for your next update, and even when it takes you longer than normal I don't find myself aggravated or anything (take your time, trust me I understand how hard finding inspiration is. And even if you have it, writing it can be a struggle itself). I just wanted you to know that you have at least one very adamant and loyal fan who loves you and your writing. I can't wait to see how the series is going to come to a close (but I'll be terribly sad when it's gone and will be praying you'll be writing more books) and believe that this series really should be published and shown to the rest of the world. Now I'm done rambling, I  just wanted you to know that I appreciate all your hard work! (Also your names pretty cool and we seem to like some similar things based on your profile description, which is also pretty cool XD)

@BlackHeart333  Ohmygosh your comment is so awesome and uplifting! I honestly do write for my own pleasure, but I like to share my stories regardless of fanfare or popularity. I don't mind that my work doesn't have a lot of reads or votes because having my writing out there is enough for me. A couple of years ago I was too shy to let even my loved ones read my writing, but with encouragement I began to share on here. So although I don't NEED a huge fan base, I am very pleased and honored to have people who've stuck with me, like you.  Even still, I do get super excited to see votes or comments. Just knowing that others are able to experience these stories, too, is almost like going on the same journey together. Thanks for your patience and understanding, truly. I always know what I want to write, it's how it's written that is important to me. If I'm in the wrong mood, so is my writing. But I have some exciting ideas for the next few chapters and plan on getting it written - or typed - very soon. Thanks again for your comment and support. I hope not to disappoint! I don't mind constructive criticism either if you see something questionable. Any who, it's very late here and I promise to get writing as soon as I can manage!

Hi fellow Wattpaders, I've been meaning to post for a while, but I wasn't satisfied with what I'd written. I had to take a mental break because quite frankly, I've been battling the blues and trying to get back to who I really am. Eventually I think I'll have to do editing and adding to this installment in the DTB trilogy before I'm happy with it. I have just posted the latest chapter to Ascension and am working on chapter 8. I'm feeling more myself lately and am trying to take advantage of that to write. Happy Reading and Writing!

I'm very sorry for not being on. I've had to take a short break to take better care of my health and now that I'm getting back on track, I wanted to put up Chapter 5 of DTB: Ascension. I am working diligently on chapter 6 and hopefully I'll continue to feel well enough and motivated enough to do more. Thanks for your patience and support everyone!
