          Well... 
          
          Thanks to my stubborn device, I've managed to restore 40+ chapters (out of 60) of "When You're With Me." Cheers to that! However, I've been following the recent trend of Indian writers losing their books on this platform, and it's made me cautious about the safety of my work. This application previously deleted my book without warning, so I'm exploring alternatives.
          
          I've decided to modify the story into an original historical fiction piece, which I'll make available on Wattpad and Scrollstack under my other ID, @Sidwoony. 
          Now, I've two options -- setting the story in a Bengali backdrop or choosing a different backdrop with a royal heritage theme, with significant modifications to the era and character arcs. 
          
          If I opt for the Bengali backdrop, it'll retain some elements of the original story, but it will still be an original work. I'll mention the inspiration at the beginning. On the other hand, if I choose a different backdrop, it will be a completely new and independent work. In fact a series with multiple couples and a lot of thrillers too. 
          
          So, I'd like to hear from you...
          are you interested in reading something remotely related to Barrister Babu? Do you have a preference for the Bengali backdrop or a different setting? Do reply!
          
          With over 40 chapters already drafted, the book will be completed soon.
          
          In the meantime, do check out my other book, "Stuck With You," which has a humorous and realistic tone if you've ever liked my writings. The waves of changes in Wattpad have been ridiculously wide and tall. Now that we see, Al content in writing is rising in a way that it's a copyright questioning point. As a writer I wish to clarify that talent and skill brings any artificial intelligence down. I, Emercy, hereby declare that my profile has no written content sourced from any Al. If you've read my stories since I joined the app then you might know from what a scratch I had started and how much time it took me to finish 60 chapters of my book When you are with me. You people have clearly seen me evolving in writing since then. But it's not the same for many writers. 
          
          Al in graphics and art hurts designers, similarly it hurts the writers as well. Al can be a helpful medium to learn and explore but it shouldn't be the only medium (I'm pointing straight to the 100% Al generated stories) to bring out the stories and let it compete in the orange world where writers put their blood sweat and life as they keep typing till the last word of the tale. #I_support_talent. Please do complain about those types of stories to wattpad. It's not only about Ai but about the time and hard work we all writers put to weave our precious works.
