"Hello :)

Remember when I was meant to upload this on Sunday night? Well guess what? I had my laptop taken away from me by my dad because he found me awake at like 4 in the morning, and I only got it back around 30 minutes ago. And since he doesn't know that I have wattpad, I couldn't exactly tell him - 'hey dad, I have thousands of people waiting for my update, so can you please give me my laptop back?'

Yeah, that wouldn't have gone well. But good news is that I've already started the next chapter during these few days that I haven't had my laptop as a distraction. So, I'm around 30% through my next chapter. Soooo much fun is coming you guys, I can't wait to fill you in :')

          	Happy reading!

          	CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT

          	River’s POV

My mother managed to sort Lea out. It turns out after all that her bruise wasn’t anything serious – nothing was broken, and the swelling should go down in a few days. So, after getting my mum to speak to the school and asking for an afternoon off for both Lea and me, we both say goodbye to her and head on home.

I’m still holding onto Lea’s hand, and I really don’t want to let go of it. I feel as if, if I do, then I might not be able to hold it again.

I don’t know - I’m not sure what I feel at the moment, especially with the break-up with Georgia. But all I know is that the last person I want to leave my life right now is Lea.

That’s why this morning, when I heard the Wilson’s discussing properties that they’d be willing to rent out whilst their house gets rebuilt, I got a little bit uneasy.

I want Lea to stay in my house.

We finally get to the car, and I reluctantly let go of her hand to allow her to get into the passengers seat. I do the same, taking in a deep breath before bringing the car to life when I turn the key in the ignition.

Clearing my throat, I look into my rearview mirror, reversing out of the car space.

“Thank you.” She says quietly...." http://wattpad.com/story/1685843
