I will be deleting Torn this month to publish it elsewhere. If you're currently reading you may want to finish while it's still on here for free.

@ACHollove there are no hidden fees, your expenses will be in people you hire if you choose to. There is also Draft-to-digital that you can publish on, it's only digital copies like it says, but you upload it once and your ebook will be published to several different platforms not just Amazon. I usually stick with Amazon because I do Amazon exclusive where I can offer free days and the books are available on Kindle Unlimited which is a subscription service for books I get money for each page read. To be honest that's where most of my royalties come from. Amazon also gives you the option to make a paperback. Only fee there is if you order copies, which you get a special price on author copies. I usually order five or so of each book for people to buy directly from me.

@ACHollove It isn't that expensive for me, but I do graphic design, so I make my own covers and I have a friend who is a stickler for grammar that edits my stuff for me. I can do formatting too, but formatters can be found for cheap, around $50 on fiverr. I haven't spent a ton on marketing, but my sales do hurt from that. I don't make a lot either, but I enjoy doing it and hope one day my writing will actually pay some bills.
