I've been mustering up the courage to write again but have failed miserably. My writing lacks passion and effort due to a multitude of reasons. Awaken's first chapter was poorly planned out and highly rushed due to me pressuring myself. It's a combination of anxiety and depression hindering the real first chapters of these books. So far I see all my attempts as mere jokes and I apologize greatly for that.

@Emily_Occasus You wrote, and that means a lot. My first chapter was trash I will admit. But if you enjoy making a story and take us along for the ride, thats all you got to do. You will get better as time goes on. Writing is all about the adventure of getting better. Just focus on having fun writing the book. And if you feel you want to, add chapters for rewriting the other chapters. Dont worry about being perfect, what matters is having fun writing what you can. Plz don't beat yourself up, cause we are both on the same path. lol

@Emily_Occasus I have recently read your story (through a notification and I wanted some more stuff to read so I read your first chapter ^-^) and I think it’s great because it gives off this mysterious feeling and it gets me anticipating for the next part! (No pressures - take as much time as you need!!) Though I think you could have added on a little bit. I understand that your anxiety and depression can put pressures on you and it doesn’t help with relaxing. I have been pressured a lot in the past, so some of my advice to try and help you would be to try to find a time to ease your mind and take a break from writing if you want; especially if your mental health affects your performance. You shouldn’t force yourself to go past your limit!
I believe that you are an amazing writer, but you can only force yourself to do so much that you can handle.
I hope this helps because I’m not the best at giving advice to people :’)
(I apologize for making this very long and using some big words - I tend to do that sometimes >~<)

"From our home on the Earth, we look out into the distances are strive to imagine the sort of world into which we are born… . But with increasing distance our knowledge fades, and fades rapidly, until at the last dim horizon we search among ghostly errors of observations for landmarks that are scarcely more substantial. The search will continue. The urge is older than history. It is not satisfied and it will not be suppressed." -Edwin Hubble
