My name is Emily and I'm 19 years old. I've been writing since before I knew how to hold a pen. If I'm being honest (and why not?), I have a love/hate relationship with writing. It's something that I do well when I can, and I don't when I can't. I can't seem to stop, though, so I suppose I'm stuck with it. I finished my first book in 2015, of which I'm still editing. I'm a classics girl, so my favorite authors are F. Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway. I know, real original. In my own defense, I found them on my own and not through a high school reading assignment. Maybe I'll be a (photo)journalist someday, who knows. 
     In other news, I own my own legging brand (@urbanstreetathleticwear on Instagram, if you're interested). I'm also a photographer (@_theoblivion_ if you want to see my photography, or if you just want to be a creepy stalker). I throw knives (not at people, unless you're a stalker). I play the piano and sing (horribly) when nobody's listening. I like working out. That's only partially true. I do anyway. Now that I've mentioned every single basic detail about me, maybe you'll be more inclined to read my stuff. Or not. I hope you do, though.
