@Angel-Blade Sure. I always love giving advice (even if I'm not the best at giving it). All I can really tell you though with poems is to write from the heart, don't be scared to be really honest and blunt and if you want to hear how it sounds just share with friends who you trust will give you constructive criticism that can help you. With songs, pretty much like poems but with a lots of repetition. Always have a bridge in the middle of your song (which is best to do if you a beginner at song writing) that part is where you really make your point. Plus, writing chords and notes to your song can help to see if the words will flow or not. Also, never be afraid to change things around or take out things, it really helps bring your creation into it's final copy (or form. Something like that ).
