Born 5th March 1978 in The Borough of Pendle, Lancashire, the youngest of three siblings, (sister Jen, brother Noel), to parents Susan and Paul. Mum to Connor and Abi and Partner of Simon (family = inspiration)
I have always loved reading and writing. I wrote my first book at the age of 7 called "The Magic Toadstool", I still have the original story, bound with some garden string and hurriedly illustrated by my mum, I have recently begun reworking it for my own amusement.
The Veil Gate is my first book to be published to date, The Guardian of Souls is the first in a series of books I am planning to write, I completed the first draft of it in a month, during Nanowrimo, (becoming a winner) and surprised myself at how easy I found the process. I decided to publish the ebook first to test the water before going to print but I am hoping to go the old fashioned route soon.
I love the characters in The Veil Gate and I really care about their story so you will be hearing more from them soon.
