It's funny how things happen the way they do.
I remember when you said there'd never be a "me and you."
But look at us now, so many months past since then.
From the time when I was barely even a friend.

Yet I fear you don't realize, but you don't say.

The only one who was there, when life got rough.
Picked me up when I fell, and still helping me to stand on my own two feet.
Giving me shelter and a home, when I should have been on the street.
I was the first person you told "I love you."
