@Emo_Race_Car_Driver It was a monster hunter story can't remember The story creators username.It's been a while since I actually went to see him , but when I checked his story , which I had archived..... Well you know what you see when somebody's Account and store are gone.

Actually, I meant if you could ask him if he has a backup account or something or another account on archive of our own Because A lot of the people I've been reading like I said, have been taken down as of recent, and I can't go ask him if he has that himself since..... You know he blocked me so

Well, not like that, like literally, people didn't just move a lot of the people I've been reading on, just straight up stopped And I know they have real lives too but...... Still so much incredible work left unfinished or just completely destroyed It's like watching Something that's been growing for so long that you've been so proud to look at just slowly crumble away.

@JaiOngay Oh yeah, already 3 of my smaller stories here have been taken down also. Before I kinda kept up on this site but when those started to happen, I fully left and just use this to gain more awareness.

@JaiOngay I know , but still even when a lot of things like that still get at least a couple comments , people still tend to leave them......... And like you Said this platform is slowly dying off What is that one Phobia calledI don't remember but it has something to do with the fear of the inevitable we're just slowly watching this site right away Two writers I read , have had to move on to that other site Though the reason why is because not because of people leaving or anything like that Mostly because of corporate a Holes The example I'm going to use here is THENUT (I don't know if I said his name correctly.) He had to move to the other side because a couple of his smaller stories got taken down and he didn't want his bigger ones to be taken down and he thought they were at some point.So he moved on to That other site instead I'm not necessarily too bothered by that, but still When I first came onto this site I was..... Happily reading In fact, one of my favorite stories hasn't been updated in a while.The guy is still writing but not on That Specific story anymore He hasn't said that he's canceled the earnings But either way...... Just feels depressing.

@JaiOngay oh yeah, I know. Even I confess to doing that. I can never focus on this over a very long time. So any longer the story never gets finished. And I think that's why stories get abandoned. People just lose interest. My longest lasting (and still going) story? I had someone pretty early on comment on each chapter as they came out and that kept me going past what I usually stop at. And that's my point in trying to say. If you truly want a story your reading to keep going. Just keep commenting on the chapters as they come out. Show appreciation and talk to them about their stories. Theorize in comments. Authors LOVE that. That fuels them. Obviously there is gonna be times when they have to stop even if you comment. But commenting increases the chance of them keeping on.
