          Just wanted to check in on you, how are you doing?

Hello Friends it's been a while! I've been very busy with school and haven't written much at all this yearI miss it a lot, and I miss you guys too!! I hope everyone is doing well and happy! Don't worry, I'm not planning to stop writing, but I'll probably take huge gaps between each oneshot or chapter.
          
          However! I come before you here with a headcanon/piece of lore I have! With the Olympics happening right now, I thought it'd been nice to share a fun fluffy idea I have with the Countryhumans when it comes to these international events.(I would have liked to have written a oneshot story about it but alas time is scarce at the moment)
          
          I originally got the idea from a FIFA world cup event, and seeing a video of a huge crowd, millions of people from all nationalities all rooting for a football team during final rounds, and cheering for one country, waving their flag and painting their colours on their face, got to me and I thought about how possibly emotional or energizing it would feel as a Countryhuman, to have so many people cheering 'You' on. Particularly what inspired me was the 2014 match between Germany and Brazil... the legendary 7-1... a lot of tears and a lot of joy?? How did Germany feel at that moment being bombarded by such unexpected victory, or how did Brazil cope with such overwhelming grief? (Keep in mind I also have a headcanon that Countryhumans can "feel" the emotions+thoughts of their people-)

          hey, so this is really weird and random, but I'd just like to thank you for genuinely being an inspiration to me. this is the weirdest course of events and i haven't been on this website in years, but i used to have a rusger oneshots book on here as well and you were like the biggest inspiration back then- but then i deleted it because some things happen and i kinda looked down on myself for all the interests i had, until recently i really just kind of came to the conclusion that i should never have left??? like writing on here was so much fun, same with reading things, and i shouldn't have cringed at myself like i did, and you were always supportive and an INCREDIBLE writer. like props to you, you can write, hands down. but when i came to this i was just like, im gonna come back to this website, keep writing. i used to be awful at writing (which, to be honest, i was when i first wrote on here) but it made me better, but because I forced myself out of all of my interests, I didn't really have anywhere to use that writing. but i looked back and was like, this was so much fun???? i enjoyed this period of my life SO much????? and your oneshots were always, again, just amazing. it's part of the reason i came back here, albeit on a new account, but thank you for being one of the many things that inspired me to keep writing about my interests on here, instead of hiding myself from them :)))
