For me, the worst part about opening an account on any social website is having to write a bio. I absolutely hate it. But that's not because of any reluctance to share  some inconsequential personal info (I love talking about myself), but because I never know what to include, what to exclude, where to begin or where to end. 

However, because this platform is meant to be somewhere people read and share their writing, I can narrow down this bio to a few basic answers to questions you might have for me. 

Who am I? 
I'm a 22 year old student-athlete in university, with a passion for writing. I used to be more active here when I was a fantasy-obsessed teenager, but life got in the way, and I stopped writing consistently. Now that I'm in the middle of getting my law degree, trying to make an amateur career in an unforgiving sport work and doing my best to live well in this crazy cyberpunk dystopia we call the modern world, I've decided to start writing again. 

Why do I write? 
I write because I love  life. The human condition can provide endless different experiences and thoughts and emotions. Telling stories is a great way to share some of these with each other and bring us closer together. I'd love to be a part of that. 

What kinds of stories will I write? 
Well, I tend to write what I like to read (doesn't everyone?). I've always loved dark fantasy and science fiction, especially cosmic horror stories, so much of what I write here will blend elements from these genres as I play with different ideas my brain comes up with. 

I also write poetry (it's all depressing though, so I'm not sure I'll share much of that here).
