Where's Scottie been?
          
          Hello, everyone. It's me, Scottie
          
          Where have I been? It's hard to say. I've been.. on a road to discover myself. For the past year I haven't felt an emotion, and it was only as of recent that I sought mental help for this issue. I will address a few questions that I've been asked over the past few months.
          
          Where are the updates?
          In terms of updates, there are no updates. I promise to at least finish "Is this the afterlife?" At some point in the future. I cannot say for sure whether that is sooner or later, or not at all, but it will be finished.
          
          Where have you been?
          I have moved mostly onto Ao3, though I don't write there much either. This is because wattpad's ads are so bloody obnoxious, I can't stand to use this app.
          
          Why haven't you been working on your stories?
          I am very old compared to most of you. I am also very, very tired. I am always busy and while writing was my favourite hobby at one point, it too is becoming more like work. If I'm able to turn it back into a hobby, updates will be more frequent. If not, be patient.

@EmperorScottie  life has some bumpy roads, and some cracks that seem to never end, but those who think hard and become thoughtful of their surroundings will push down on those bumps, fill the cracks and push forward. Happiness does not come easy, nor does enjoyment. But... You can make it easy. You just need to look forward. Yesterday is history tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift. Even if it doesn't seem like it. A book if not nearly as important as your wellbeing and not nearly as needed as your existence.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you know I've made a discord server. It's not really something just for CountryHumans since I just made it as an alternative for my friends after another server we were in got toxic.           Also, while I'm here. I decided to plan out what I'm going to do with "The castle's mistress" to kind of calculate how many chapters I'll be writing. If all goes to plan, it'll be 70+ chapters long (Which totals around 140K words.) So yep, guess I'm writing an actual book!
