Recommendations! If your going in to Sweden in the summer I would recommend : (Tip) in the cities everything is pretty much walking distance. We have good transportation so you can take the buses, ferry’s (in whatever city your in)and trams. Don’t forget to go for a swim to,it’s a must -Gotland is a giant island and you go to in the city ‘visby’ and ’Fårö’ which means ‘ goat-island’ it’s So beautiful and Cosy and a lot is just walking distance and its actually really warm in the summer at least for being Sweden when I was there it was like 20 to 35 degrees Celsius the whole week .Visby by has a lot oh historical sites to walk or bike around to look at! And then where I come from: -Gothenburg and go to Liseberg it’s an amusement park (fits all ages) and visit the islands(you can just take the ferry to almost all of them and they have some really good fish restaurants) there’s islands wrångö,höno,styrsö and much more, just the archipelago overall .And take “paddan” it means frog, its a tour-bout that gives you a tour around Gothenburg and info about the city and you can actually go of whenever you want and it stops at liseberg station(I think)you’ll find that at “Kungsportsplatsenl”and there’s jubileumsparken in Slottskogen and look at animal park ,it’s free (means castlepark….there is no castle there) I would also recommend especially like anywhere on the west coast, like -’Smögen’ and Marstrand in Bohuslän.(definitely go for a swim if you’re there)in smögen there’s a bridge where you do a lot of shopping but it can get quite expensive at some shops. -of course Stockholm is a good and safe choice for a first time visit coming to Sweden but it can get a little boring because it’s a little basic city to go to but it’s still really good and pretty! Like the Stockholm archipelago and walk around in gamla stan/old town and look at the historical houses and churches and of course the abba museum! And we got a lot of cute cafes and restaurants all over the country.
