Hey Enchanted!! It's been a really really long time since we've interacted ( you probably don't even remember me and that's completely fine lmao) but I wanna thank you for making 'The Stars that Guide Us' and the rest of the series. It saved me from a really dark place, and I can never thank you enough. It was an amazing read when it was first coming out, and so was the rest of the series. I remember always having my notifications on so I could be the first person to vote and comment on it. I was planning on re-reading the entire series soon. Ik your probably not active on this account anymore, but even if you never see this, I truly wanna say thank you from the bottom of my heart

          Hi everyone, it’s been a while.
          
          I’m so excited to announce that I will be attending Milton Keynes Comic Con next Saturday as Scarlet Phantom. This is I’ll be the first comic con that I’m attending since the pandemic and the first time cosplaying Scarlet Phantom at a comic con and I’m honestly so excited!
          
          I’ve also been working on upgrading Scarlet Phantom’s cosplay and I’m still got some bits to add which will be a part of her cosplay in the near future.
          
          If any of you guys are in the area or attending the comic con and you see me around, please feel free to say hi, it would be lovely to meet you guys!

Hi everyone,
          
          I’m so sorry I haven’t been as active these past couple of weeks, I have been extremely busy.
          
          I’ve officially been promoted in the company that I work for and I’m so excited to start my new role very soon as I am going from customer service up to systems administrator which is something I have always dreamt of doing, so I have been busy preparing for that!
          
          I will be away this weekend as I’m also going to be living one of my biggest dreams and that is seeing Black Veil Brides live on Saturday and also meeting Jake Pitts after the show to get his stage worn jacket that I ordered from him, so I am super excited!
          
          Also! I have got an idea for a new story, it’s another fanfic but this is completely different to what I have written before and is set in the world of Dragon Quest 11, so any Dragon Quest fans out there, watch this space!

Happy New Year to all my wonderful followers!
          
          I hope 2023 treats you all well and is a prosperous year for you all!
          
          This year will see the re-writes of the rest of The Stars That Guide Us saga as well as the completion of the final book to the series, and maybe the 3 other novellas I have planned will be released before the series I’ve held so close to my heart will officially come to an end after 3 years.
          
          However when one thing ends, something new begins, and I can guarantee you all that there will be more to come, whether this happens this year or not, I don’t know, but just know I’m not intending on stopping my writing. In fact, I have a few ideas up my sleeve and once I’ve started to get these ideas in motion, I will make a further announcement on this.
          
          2022 was a bit of a bumpy patch when it came to my writing, getting Covid twice caused me to go on a mini break, and the fact my dad was in hospital at the end of 2022 made me stop writing for the time being because that was literally the last thing on my mind. However, I am pleased to say my Dad has now come home and is on the mend.
          
          I just want to take a moment to thank you all for your ongoing support, it really means the world to me, whether you vote, comment or read my stories, it is greatly appreciated, and I hope I will be able to show you all how much your support means to me.
          
          From today (once I’ve recovered from my New Year’s celebrations) I will officially be back from my hiatus and bringing you more chapters to enjoy!

It’s been a chaotic week to say the least.
          
          With it being Christmas Eve, I just want to take some time to wish you all a very Merry Christmas from our house to yours.
          
          I’m pleased to say, our Christmas miracle has happened, my dad is pulling through! He’s so much better than what he was this time last week. I honestly thought we were going to lose him when he was rushed into hospital. It’s crazy to think this time last week, we were preparing to say our goodbyes to him, but now he’s come back fighting.
          
          It’s a shame he won’t be home for Christmas, but it just means we get to celebrate Christmas with him at a later date when he comes home, which we’re hoping will be in the new year if he carries on making improvements.
          
          So yeah, I’m sorry I’ve not been around this past week, I’ve been more focused on my dad and trying to stay strong for my mum, but at least there’s a light at the end of this dark tunnel.
          
          I’ve decided that if all goes smoothly in the new year, I will be returning from my hiatus and continuing with my writing, so until then, happy holidays, stay safe and I’ll see you all in the new year!

Update on my dad, he’s been moved onto a ward and is still on oxygen as well as antibiotics and steroids.
          
          Unfortunately, if his stats do not improve, it will just be a case of making him comfortable until it’s time for him to go.
          
          I’d like to thank you all who have sent prayers and well wishes during this difficult time, we really appreciate your kind words.

It is with a heavy heart to say that for now, I will be on a writing hiatus.
          
          My dad was rushed into hospital this morning as he wasn’t able to breathe properly. He was coughing continuously and his body ended up storing too much carbon dioxide to the point he was extremely dazed and wasn’t fully responsive.
          
          I’m currently sitting at home whilst my mum is with him in the hospital and I’m waiting on further updates, however the latest news is they are trying to get his oxygen levels back to normal and unfortunately, if he doesn’t make any improvement, he could end up incubated. Due to his current underlying conditions, if he gets incubated, there’s a very slim chance that he will pull through.
          
          With all of this going on as well as my mental health taking a bad turn, writing is the least of my worries at the moment. I hope you can all understand why I have chosen to go on hiatus for the time being.
          
          I’m not sure how long I will be away for, but as soon as I’m ready to, I will start uploading chapters once more.

Well… I may or may not have just binged watched the final batch of Stone Ocean episode… Yeah I did…
          
          Did I cry?
          
          Answer: A lot 
          
          
          But on the plus side, it’s got the ideas brewing for Starlight.
          
          So, when it comes to Starlight’s re-write (well, at least the first part to re-write), I’ll be ready for it! If you think about it, this time last year I went into writing Starlight completely blind with everything that would be happening in SO (minus major plot points, I already knew about those), so now that I know exactly what happens and when, I can implement that into the story, and honestly, I’m excited for what’s to come since I have planned some surprises for what will happen, and I have a feeling this one will be very fun to write!
