          My story isn’t abandoned and chapters are still being written, don’t worry. I just wanted to update everyone because this time of year is rough on me. An anniversary of a family member’s passing is coming up soon so if you can be understanding I’d be more than thankful. Happy reading everyone.

Lore drop: Sapphire works two jobs to make ends meet. She’s a tailor and she works at the brothel. 

Lore drop: Puck has a lot of groupies within the kingdom. But he only has eyes for one woman. He hasn’t gotten the courage to ask her out yet. 

What do you think the scandal in the kingdom is?

Late night lore drop: 
          Astrid was born into a family of socialites. She’s an only child. While she grew up used to the finer things in life, she still treated everyone with respect and kindness. 
          Then shocking news hit her family, they were going bankrupt. Her parents tried to do everything, they started selling things from around their house. And then it came down to their last resort: arrange their daughter with the heir of the kingdom, Alistair. 
          Alistair was pleased to do it, happily so. It didn’t take long for the two to get married. The kingdom fell in love with the couple. It saved Astrid’s parents from bankruptcy and it was a good political move for Alistair. He would never admit that though. 

For the people not on ThingsBook, here’s a lore drop I posted earlier: 
          There’s an old painting hidden in the back of the pawn shop in the kingdom. The owner keeps it hidden under a cloth. It’s been there for so long it’s collected dust. 
          The portrait is of a handsome heir from centuries ago. His wings were a striking gold, which matched his royal attire and sword. The painting would be lovely to sell if it weren’t for the rumors and the condition it was in. 
          It was obvious it was a beautiful painting at one point in time. But the frame itself was scratched and carved all over. The owner wasn’t sure with what exactly. According to rumors, the heir was filled with greed, perfectionism, and being vain. 
          The children in the kingdom love to sneak into the pawn shop after sunset and dare each other to look at the painting. It’ll remain hidden and never for sale though. The past stays in the past.

I apologize for how quiet it has been. But I promise I’m still working on my story behind the scenes. I promise my story isn’t abandoned.
