Hi, I'm Ishmael Pondevida - a civil engineer by profession, a storyteller by passion, and a lifelong learner at heart.

By day, I manage complex construction projects as a Project Director. By night, I explore worlds beyond blueprints - writing fiction, crafting stories inspired by culture, myth, and the human spirit. My creative work is deeply influenced by my Filipino roots, blending folklore with modern themes in an attempt to preserve and reimagine our heritage for a new generation.

I'm the author of Relics of Forgotten Flame, a fantasy-adventure series where ancient Philippine relics and forgotten gods collide with the modern world - revealing powers hidden in bloodlines, belief, and history.

When I'm not managing deadlines or drafting chapters, I spend time creating healthy recipes, developing digital tools for engineers, and experimenting with AI in storytelling and video creation. My mission is to prove that you can be both technical and creative - that there's power in mastering both structure and soul.
