@mintaftertaste i find that even amongst all the gore, there is morals. At least questioning morals: good versus bad and vice versa. U can take it in a psychological way too like why do the characters fight. Why do they do what they do. Tho religion plays a part in attack on titan, i just like the story plot. I find it interesting how the characters develop. =) u have good points lol

@mintaftertaste well the age is no restriction for me. Besides i already saw some gory stuff before. I did watch attack on titan

mintaftertaste

oh that one.
if you watch carefully, the whole anime is ripped off from a religious context.
people like it and I respect that.
I think its disgusting, gory and unhealthy
as for I thought the same about elfen lied and higurashi
but perhaps by passive attitude reflects that.
many are just like 'oh there's morals in that, if you look at it carefully'
nah man, too much violence, not much to really think about.
            :/

@mintaftertaste oh i read all her works except captive hearts. It was kinda boring honestly. Hmm i see. I never tried claymore tho i herd it was good.

mintaftertaste

by far the best thing I've ever read it Claymore.
            Why?
Because it has ending. its getting there, we're getting answers
Too many mangas out there with endless plots that are stretched beyond belief and Not enough answers being given
ahem, Naruto and Bleach (which are awesome until they started introducing crazy arcs and whatnots)
but that's just my opinion ;p

@mintaftertaste It's true that Yuki and Zero should have lived and taken over the academy but mayb she just wanted to end it that way as a final twist. I really do love her works. I hope she makes a better manga in the future =)

mintaftertaste

she's made that prince one called Mera Puri
            Merchant prince I think.
And then she wrote captive hearts.
she's also done a one shot novel thing called Wanted.
;p yeah, I read A WHOLE pile of these mangas back then
Now I can't even look at manga and not cringe.
The only one I'm keeping up with is a shonen jump advanced Japanese translation online manga called Claymore.
            ;p
I think I'm past my prime of everything anime ;p

@mintaftertaste I guess i both agree and disagree. The ending was sad but it was also hopeful. Whether the author followed the poll or not, kaname does deserve a good ending. He's a really complex character and yuki just wanted him happy. Besides yuki and zero did get together so i guess im satisfied. I wish there was more tho =)

mintaftertaste

I can understand your view.
but I was rooting for Yuki's growth in character.
I hated Kaname being in the spot light
Yuki was suppose to get stronger and Zero was suppose to conquer his fears and be in control
Instead both got pulled into Kaname's crap and got lost in the game
they died and Kaname lived on.
            what an ending...blech.
I'd rather see Yuki and zero take over the school and educated the next set of vampire hunters and vampires to learn coexist with the humans.
sigh...it was such a beautiful manga really.
I love matsuri hino's keen eye for detail :)
