Hi,

I'm not exactly new to Wattpad- you may know my old account @MentalMozart but due to the years it's been since I've been active on that account I've decided to create a new one! 

I chose the pen name Epione (Greek goddess of soothing/healing) because of the nature of writing and reading. If done well, writing is a cathartic process, capable of letting one escape from everyday stresses and creating a space in which one can be empowered and centred or simply relax and forget about the fuss of reality. Thus writing and reading  are both soothing and healing.

The name also stems from my love of Ancient Greece. I've been fascinated by this ancient cilivisation since I was ~8 years old and it has led me to a double degree at the University of Queensland. I'm currently studying a BA- Ancient History and a BSc- Archaeology. I hope to one day be a PhD holder and a marine archaeologist. (Insert inspirational "follow your dreams" quote here).
