          BTW I saw where you were from and had to do a double-take. I dated a girl in Sparta for a while and we'd go to Cookeville sometimes. Of course, that was 20 years ago.

@tasya_wayer Part of what drew me to it is that it's free (although you can pay for things like cover designs and marketing and stuff).  They publish both ebooks and paperback, and it's print-on-demand, so you won't have a bunch of copies lying around that you have to try to sell yourself.  And it's actually called Kindle Direct Publishing now, here's a link to it: https://kdp.amazon.com/en_US
