USA, New York
"Papers! Get'cha papers! Germans and Russians takin' ova Erurope! Brits and French buildn' up war machines! Gonna be a big ol' fight over there people!"
It was a bustling evening in New York, people going to and from places, crowding the streets like ants on a dirt mound. Buildings reach high, almost as if they're trying to reach the stars. Outside of the city, on a little farm, people could be seen star-gazing. A simple family, a father, mother, and two children, would often sit out in the cold, dreaming of the stars and planets beyond.
"Woahh! Mom! Dad! A shooting star!" One of the kids excitedly points to the sky, seeing a streak of light dash across the night sky.
"I see! I see!" The other kid, a little younger shouts. "WOAHHH!! DID YOU SEE THAT ONE?!" The kid points to the sky, an almost blinding flash of light appears, then dissapears, leaving odd objects in space.
"Honey? That... isn't normal, right?" The wife points out to her husband. "Something's there, like it came from that light!"
"No, it isn't normal." The husband goes to look through the family's telescope and saw something outrageous. "Honey... get the kids inside. And get Roosevelt on the phone."
