I grew up reading and since I have a daughter I am reading more than ever. I love the thriller genre, but Fantasy is my all-time favourite (with the Discworld books by Terry Pratchett in particular).
I wanted to write my own book for years, but never started it. Well, that isn't true. I started different stories, but without a well thought out plan. I need that. When I had the plan for The Miserable Ones, I just went for it. 
I am an actor and director from The Netherlands, so using my imagination is my fulltime job. I write in my spare time, which is (with a child) very little. But that doesn't stop me ;)
