          Hope you're doing well and are healthy.
          
          I got involved in an accident yesterday. My condition is....not so good but not so bad either. I've sustained some serious injuries to my face and legs and it may take me some great deal of time to recover completely from it all. So, it may also cause some delay in the new updates. I apologize wholeheartedly for this mishap. I was working on the update but I am left with no choice but to take some time off and look after myself. 
          
          I know you all have been extremely patient with my inconsistency. I kindly ask you to be a bit more patient with me.

          After twelve long years, we have finally done the absolute incredible by etching our names into the record books once again. Our team did their best, and everyone put their blood, sweat and tears on line with the kind of efforts they all put in this tournament. I am so proud of our Indian Cricket team

So, after a prolonged period of hiatus, I have finally got the motivation as well as the time to get back to Stay A Bit Longer. I am aware that the hiatus period of seven months was huge and I will try my best to not go away for that long from now on. 
          
          The new chapter focuses more on the dynamic of Pat and Abhishek and is centered more on Pat's inner monologue. Plus there's some turn on events which will begin to navigate the course of their relationship.
          
          The next chapter will more Abhishek-centric for a fresh change of POV and you may or may not see the special appearance of some characters *smirks*.

Hey, I have recently read your work 'Heaven is where you are'. The story is captivating. And the way you have written it, it's out of the world. I am glad I came across your work.
