I don't know if anyone remembers me. I'm the author of Jessie & Elizabeth.
Sorry, I haven't been on Wattpad for so long. I really appreciated all of you who've supported me in the past years.
I'm so sorry I didn't manage to finish Jessie & Elizabeth. I'm currently working on a different story that's almost finished, and maybe I'll revisit Jessie & Elizabeth afterward, but I would be doing a complete rewrite because I feel like it's lacking something...
It was the first queer story I ever started writing, and it feels a little off to me, like I was still trying to figure out what queerness looked like to me. And of course, I'm a different person now than 4 years ago -- passing the age of 25 really does change you.
I'll post an announcement if I do end up doing a rewrite! But I have realized now I don't do well under pressure, so if I do this, I might just write the whole thing first before posting it here.

I'm so sad that Jessie & Elizabeth went from being labelled hiatus to abandoned. But I hope you're doing okay and that life treats you well. You're an amazing writer. You've got real talent because like many others, even after 3 years I still come back to reread this. The characters are all very dear to me and your work just brings me so much joy whenever i read it. So thank you for sharing the story. Wishing you the best for everything and sending good vibes! Also i hope you manage to continue writing even if it's just for yourself. You've got a real knack at it!
