So apparently Ceding The Throne just crossed 1.02K views! I wasn't expecting that. I know there are books on Wattpad pulling so much bigger numbers, but seeing four digits on something I spent so much time planning, writing, rewriting, and editing is still a nice surprise. What's even funnier is that most of you have been silent. Just the view count creeping upward whenever I check. At this point, I'm convinced some of you are operating under a sacred oath of secrecy.
I know I wouldn't have reached that number without LingOrm. A lot of you clicked because you love Lingling and Orm, and I'm grateful for that. Their fandom gave my story a chance it might not have had otherwise.
I also want to give a special shoutout to my very first follower. The first chapter of my second book, To Keep You Safe, I'll Be The Villain, was dedicated to you as a small thank-you.
Anyway, I appreciate every view. Considering how many hours went into outlining, revising, editing, and occasionally questioning my life choices, seeing that number cross into four digits feels worth it.
Now please return to your regularly scheduled silent-reader activities. I know you're out there.
One more thing.
Episode 1 of In Love Forever made my blood feel alive again. Seeing N'Orm (Pheeracha) cry over the breakfast P'Lingling (Ranchanlapas) prepared was probably my favorite scene so far. I cried too. I'd already read Dream Of A Wedding Day by Reallyb months ago after the news broke that LingOrm would be starring in the adaptation, and it immediately became one of my must-read GL novels. Countless chapters had me bawling harder than The Secret Of Us novel ever did, so I'd been waiting for In Love Forever for a long time. I couldn't care less how tame the kissing scenes are as long as the story's emotions are conveyed well. So far, Episode 1 delivered.
Thank you, Lord.
