Ya'll, be real, should I just let my reader stories just be oc stories? Like, I know reader stories are the bread and butter, but I think of Y/n more as characters than just reader inserts. Only concern is view count might go down, but... meh, at best it's a little disheartening, and I wanna be a gooned out little freak, it's reaching people his half the reward

@Tessa404 Reader stories I feel like are something you kinda grow out of reading unless it's like a one shot. So some One shots on ao3 are probably by people migrating from Wattpad and almost all fics on Wattpad are kinda bloated with reader stories

@monst3r356 I get why you’d consider it a downside, but sometimes, it goes hard into the direction of barely being recognizable. But I will make it a case to have a decent amount of changes. Plus sticking to canon gives more of a structure to follow

@Tessa404 hell even something like doctor who. A major downside to Wattpad stories is show/anime/media in general is they stick to canon so damn close it's literally just a RWBY but with extra person
