@ZemoLokiSimp never fond of mine. My mom always brought up my grandmother dying the day before. She couldn't care about her only living child but her mom that passed away when I was a freshman.
            
            Then I had something that changed my view of the world and birthdays.  It was one of those years of I'm getting old, first wrinkles and the day before my birthday my daughter was inconsolable. 
            
             It had turned out that a young and amazing tribal man, that was considered a son, brother, best friend and uncle to baby grandson was  killed in a hit and run.  He was walking to one of two destinations: his uncle or me.
            
             "Momma bear I'm in a bad place..." he would say and I would get up, late at night to unlock the door.
            
            Those grey hairs and putting weight on was meaningless.  Every year I don't hear 'happy birthday to you' 
            
             I hear... "He didn't die alone." 
            
            Some high school students found him laying in the road, barely alive.  They seeked me out later to tell me and comfort me.
            
            I'm sorry to hear  about the day of your birth and how it is far from pleasant.  If I seemed cold and callouse, I did not mean to..

@ZemoLokiSimp  On September 5, 1877, Crazy Horse, an Oglala Sioux Indian chief who resisted removal efforts, was killed at Fort Robinson by a U.S. soldier. 
            
            Crazy Horse fought at The Battle of Greasy Grass (Little Bighorn). Sorry but I highly doubt the Ogala want this day forgotten. It symbolizes the cruel actions of a government on an Indigenous tribe.
