Happy Black History Month!

          My ch America and Canada don't get along (this just makes their divide worse and sours their brother-like relationship + diplomacy btw. if this were hetalia, things would be hella different.)

With the way a 'nuanced' yearning for the resurfacing of American Imperialism is going, I'm very tempted to write about it (both as a coping mechanism and with full intent to be satirical about even writing it in the first place because this is not the hell that was supposed to come back in 2025. No one wants Manifest Destiny: the sequel.)

I've been getting impressively horrible headaches recently, kills any strength to write or do anything without awful pain in my head. These may be migraines; anyhow, how is everyone holding up?

If only I could get the Hetalia manga irl :’)

One thing I hate about teaching myself history if my own Chicano culture, is how little I can find outside of major historical events.
          
          Teaching myself the Zoo Suit Riots, and Operation Wetback (which happened fairly recently: 1954) and I already know what I’m learning is just the tip of the iceberg. 
          
          The Mexican-American presence is just so faint in American history, it reminds me of how when I was a little kid, I wondered why I couldn’t find people like me. It’s like we kind of don’t exist and are seen as recently important* to American society.
          
          *Which even then I only see relevant to trends— like with the whole “Spa water,” or “Latino room” trends that annoy me slightly because being Mexican/Chicano isn’t something you can water down to trends. 
          
          UAGHH sorry for the ranting, I was just sharing my thoughts. 

One of my friends who also watches hetalia has decided to name a character of theirs who doesn’t live long enough “Davie” and I want to throttle them 

I’ve used up almost all the storage of my google account and was just about to give up writing on google docs when I found another program that’s similar and is honestly so much more neater! :D 
          
          It’s called ellipsus. The tutorial is easy to get and I’m currently in the process of transferring everything in my google docs there! 
          
          What I really like is that there’s folders to organize my stuff in, so I don’t have to worry about scrolling so much to find something.

Please tell me I’m not the only one that knows about Cells at Work and the new season coming out soon (I’m literally so excited :3)
