I wanted to talk and you know, get to know more abt how you think
Imagine writing a story, with all the elements like fantasy, action, tragedy and a bit of genuine romance in perfect tandem
But regarding the ending, you either have the option to write the most heartbreaking and emotional ending that's...honestly just beautiful and one of the most realistic and beautiful ending
Or you have the option of writing a decent happy ending, lacking slightly in story but satisfying to the reader
What will you choose?
PS- the character around whom this ending is revolving is an amazingly written character, is in some sense a deuteragonist turned semi antagonist, and is the fan favourite character of the story
Ik the question is weirdly specific, but, ig I'll let the reason be in the dark for now

@Sebastian_9876 Oh mann, I understand what you are trying to say :( Its so confusing sometimes; you don't even know what you want becuz you are torn between being a reader and a writer TvT And damnn, wasn't I rlly traumatised by Kaori's death or Sakura's murder? But even tho those animes gave me such a heartbreak, I swear, I wud do anything to watch them again for the first time =')

@Sebastian_9876 Oh ofc yw <33 I love that you tell me sm; makes me feel a whole lot special ahaha ❤️ I get it :( Ppl do like happy endings. And even tho Metanoia wasn't at all well-written, I am glad that you and my other readers liked it so much ^v^ It might sound stupid but you can also write a happy-ending and tragic ending book (with different plots ofc) but more or less same main characters. Publish the tragic one first and then in that one, promote your upcoming book - the one with happy-ending. I am sure if they loved your writing, they wud go on to read the next one <33
