I wanted to reach out personally to thank you again for sharing your story with me. You are an incredibly talented writer, and the work you’ve created is truly impressive. Your sense of detail, storytelling, and characterization really shines through, it has been a joy to read and adapt.
Unfortunately, I’ve recently had to update the rules for my channel and podcast to comply with YouTube’s legal requirements and content policies. These rules state that I’m not able to record or publish creative work from anyone under the age of 18, even with permission of the author(and parents).
This is not a reflection of your work or your potential. For your privacy and protection it is imperative that comply with this, and delete the video and recordings held on my personal device. Again, this is for your safety, as there are bad people out there, and I have no way to control what they do with, and how they feel about your work. I most certainly don't want to give such people undue access to interact with you.
That said, I want you to know this very clearly:
You are a gifted writer, and you absolutely should keep creating.
Your talent is real, uncommon, and worth nurturing. I remember being your age and an author on this site, so I feel quite responsible for this. I should have done a bit better research on how I could best protect you, *before* reaching out. I hope you can forgive me.
I truly hope you continue writing your stories and building your voice as an author. If you ever want to revisit this project in the future, and are 18 or older, I would be genuinely honored to work with you again.
