Esther Spragge started writing poetry when she was 10 years old and won first place at her elementary school for "Best Valentine's day poem" it was the very first poem she had ever written. This sparked the beginning to a lifetime mad passion with writing poetry. Drunk Driving Into Your Soul is the first of many, Esther's first published book of her poetry.

Born and raised in California with her four brothers and five sisters, her life was not easy. She writes passionately about mental health, to spread awareness. This, she says, is her ultimate goal. Esther writes every day, and is a self proclaimed book worm. She has bipolar 1 disorder, and is not afraid to share it with the world. #stigmafree 

At 23, she moved to Iceland. Esther, her Icelandic husband and her two year old daughter live in this beautiful country, where there is no lack of constant inspiration.
