Hello, my sweet estrellitas! First of all, I would like to congratulate you (if you celebrate it) on Orthodox Christmas. And even if 2026 has only just begun, and you may not be used to this fact, it's not a reason to postpone the publication of a new chapter of my book “The Criminal Diaries”. Chapter 34 is on our agenda today. So, the lead male character, who earlier went, let’s say, “a little,” wild, when he lost his mind "a little", decides to return to his roots. To return to the place he ran away from many years ago in the sprinter speed. A walk through familiar streets gives him a feeling of panic and anxiety, and leads him to his childhood home, which is kind of forgotten by everyone and completely abandoned. Well… Almost… A little later, the man runs into a vigilant old woman, who turns out to be his neighbor of a very old age. And he does not decline her invitation to come in for a cup of tea and a chat, while his hallucination sits on his neck this whole time and literally lashes the male character with an imaginary whip, provoking him constantly and whispering things, for which the hallucination itself obviously must get slapped in the face.
Meanwhile, his girlfriend continues to spend time in the apartment of the former antagonist, recalling the evening when she and her boyfriend, young and reckless, threw a party for two. A party that came as a package deal with hellish pain and hangover, regret over what was done, and explosive arguments. The co-lead characters also begin to "come alive" little by little, even though the “death” of a close friend turns out to be much harder for one of them to endure than for others. In short, guys, the rubber band keeps stretching, stretching, and stretching, and the feeling that life will not get better soon grows freaking rapidly.
Thank you for your attention!
Love, Estrella Rose.
