I hate having to force myself in spaces where I'm not compatible because I can't find spaces in which I am. Like where's my niche.

As a big sci-fi fan who has read most of the classics and has seen most big sci-fi movies out there its surprising how little sci-fi universes actually try to replicate the real one, the first problem is that everything is always static, when the universe is always in constant motion, planets are always "one click away" or something, but planets move around the sun, the solar system moves around the galaxy and the galaxies themselves move around the universe which is constantly expanding. in a "space" war there should be a whole dedicated branch of logistics to just how exactly do you maintain supply lines when suddenly two planets are on the opposite side of the sun., as an example.
          
          There's also all kinds of strange "structures" in the universe, like a huge cloud of alcohol and cyanide, fermi bubbles, "fossil stars" and all other kinds of things I can't even describe or understand, like some object that emits X-rays and other stuff, and you don't see a lot of this stuff in sci-fi movies or books.
