I need help with Ideas of ending a zombie novel, I don't want to kill the main characters off... well not yet. but i am not sure if i want to write a squeal. please help me

I want to share my autobiography that I wrote in my last year of high school (2015) but I don't want people to feel as if I'm seeking attention or sympathy for what I wrote. Should I still share my schooling experience?
