Soooo the response to my new chapter of 'We Are Not a Joke' hasn't been too good, and I'm honestly not sure whether I should even continue with this story or not. Only 5 people read my last upload compared to the views I used to get, thousands of them, so I feel like, as expected, people have lost interest.

Hi everyone! It's been a really long time since I last posted anything here, but I have some really exciting news that I think you're all going to be happy to hear!

I have decided to continue writing my ChunJoe fan-fiction 'We Are Not A Joke' starring Chunji and L.Joe from the K-pop boygroup Teen Top!
It's by far my most popular work here, and I was really torn when I made the decision to stop writing it a few years ago.

Because I love you guys so much (even now this story is receiving huge support so many years later so thank you all!) I've decided that actually, rather than wasting a really good story that I'm really proud of, I won't abandon it. I'm going to finish it the way that I'd originally planned! A new update will be up in the next few days!

          How exciting~

Title of the new chapter is:
'Chapter Nine - Kings of New York'

In the meantime, here's a a brief sypnosis for my next story:

"Brie is the good-girl-next-door. In the eyes of her neighbours, she can do no wrong. An ordinary high-schooler who dreams of living in Australia, there's nothing out-of-the-ordinary about Brie. That is, until the Cryste family moves in across the street. Brie knows they're hiding something, but discovering the truth may be biting off more than she can chew."

Yes, you've guessed it~! Rather than being a fanfic, this time I'll be writing quite a dark and mysterious story, a lot more serious than some of my other works. There will be a romantic element, but also some gore/violence and a lot of mystery. Oooooooh~

Character names may change as I start to plan out the story fully, 'Brie' was just the name that popped into my head when I started writing the story description~ (Of course, if names do change it'll be obvious once the story starts being uploaded here so don't worry too much about names right now...)

Hi guys, it's with a heavy heart that I'm writing this message...

I started my ChunJoe fanfiction, 'We Are Not A Joke', maybe a year ago(?) and for the first year, I really enjoyed writing it. I loved adding new chapters to it, and seeing how you guys interacted with my made-up scenarios (which I'm really grateful for the amount of support 'We Are Not A Joke' has received). But, as time went on and more and more things started happening in my life, I found it harder to update the story...
Due to computer malfunctions, I lost the entire plan for the rest of the story, meaning I was having to re-draft everything each time I wanted to update... In the end, I really didn't have the time, but the amount of attention it was receiving put pressure on me to update.
Eventually, it got to the stage where it became no fun to write anymore. I wasn't enjoying it, I didn't like where the story was headed (and since I lost my plans I couldn't get back my original idea for the story) and it was more a burden than something I wanted to do.

I haven't posted in a long time, because I was trying to free some time to update, and then I thought to myself; 'Well, what's the point? If I'm not even passionate about writing it anymore then I might as well not bother.' And then I had to take more time to think about this. Did I want to stop writing? How would you guys respond if I never finished it? I've already discontinued another series because I grew bored of writing it. What if I've lost my writing abilities? I couldn't stop worrying about things like this (because I have anxiety, I over-think a LOT of things).

In the end I came to the decision that, no matter what, I will not be completing 'We Are Not A Joke'. I will be discontinuing it as of now.
I'm really sorry to everyone who followed me for just that story...
I will be starting another series in the future (hopefully) unrelated to ChunJoe and I hope you will support me with that~
