A kingdom known as “Etherium” resides in a prosperous land, full of wealth and good fortune. In this kingdom are different sub-kingdoms, or territories, that house people of great power. Each citizen in Etherium has outstanding powers related to the different wonders of the Earth. These powers are passed through bloodlines, and are kept pure by the people. There are several territories that all have powers. There is Tenebris, a strong, brooding territory that prides itself in the courage and ferocity of its people; they have powers of darkness. Then there’s Lumos, a kingdom very much the opposite of Tenebris. They are soft spoken most of the time, but always have good intentions. They control powers of light. Vitae, the territory of life and nature, is most always compassionate. Their powers are Earth, and make very good farmers. Ferrum is strong, and their opinions are set in stone as soon as they make up their mind—from this territory comes many skilled blacksmiths, for it is their power to work with many precious metals. Ignis is of fire, and is always joyful and bursting with life. Peremo is calm, swift, and hardworking. They have with them the powers of water; all the oceans, rivers and streams of the Earth. Lastly, there is the territory Aeris. The people there never focus on one thing for too long, and their minds sway with the wind—the same wind they have the power to control. Together, these kingdoms make Etherium as a whole. This would seem to be a paradise, but it is quite the opposite. There happens to be a certain rivalry between the territories. It is their duty to keep their bloodlines pure, and they won’t let any exceptions pass. A hybrid of two different territories will be punished, as will the parents. This is the reality of Etherium. They are divided as a kingdom, yet strongly held together as territories. The Etherium Keepers, all “abominations” or “hybrids”, work to unite the kingdom of Etherium once more, and bring peace to the territories.
