The revised/reimagined version of Bite the Bullet is up now. Thank you for waiting 8)

So, my current version of Bite the Bullet is on hiatus for a couple reasons. (But a better version coming!) 
          
          I've done a lot more research, and while there isn't anything blatantly incorrect in the current fic, it could be a lot juicier lol
          
          And in the beginning, it was going to be from Troy's POV entirely. I'm rewriting the fic in first-person, which will yield a slightly different story, but one I find way more correct. I'll be leaving this version up, but the new one will be coming soon. (With a new front cover + title too.) 
          
          Thank you everyone that has supported my work; it means the world to me and keeps my inspiration up for writing.

Hi, I'm fairly new to this platform and I'm still figuring my way out here. But, I just wanted to mention a couple things about my current project, Bite the Bullet. 
          
          1.) My updates on it will probably be more sporadic than I'm proud of. I try to work on it when I can, but some chapters take far longer than others. It's also incredibly long, but where it's at currently, there's maybe 15 chapters left. (Give or take.) So it's...it's getting there! 
          
          2.) I love drag racing. So there's a lot of cars. 
          
          3.)Another thing is that I do take liberties with the story of SR1 and twist it or reimagine it to suit Troy's viewpoint, and my personal story for my Playa/Boss, Nacho. However, most of the fic follows the canon plot with some "behind the scenes" aspects. 
          
          4.)I've written an entire backstory and character arc for Troy, (and Julius,) leading up to the events of SR1, which will be expanded upon through this and the two other "books"/fics I have planned after this. "Only Shoot to Kill," and "How Deep the Bullet Lies." 
          
          5.)The second book will follow SR2, and the third follows the scrapped psp game's plotline, with an ultimate ending. So, just pretend sr3 and on don't exist for these works. (You can pry Stilwater out of my cold, dead hands.)
