I'm the dinky little Aussie girl with no talent for her dream and no dream for her talent

I'm no good at self introductions, so here's mine written the only way I know how:

Her name was Eira. She was like most other people her age, just trying to find her way in the world. She'd have liked to call herself special. Say 'I'm different' Because she was more introverted than the rest seemed. But she knew better. Her grades were average. Her weight was average. It seemed to her that she could be good at something, she could be great even. But she could never be the best. 

She was always a shy girl, when she was younger, she'd struggled to even order food at a cafeteria. She struggled to make friends and so when she managed to make one. The typical do-good 'Hermione' style nerd, Ceejay. She clung to her. From there, she still couldn't bring herself to put her hand up in class so she'd tell Ceejay the answer so that she could (Even though, in most cases she knew it). She still wouldn't order her own lunch, so her friend did it for her. Her friend was the best friend she could have asked for. She eased Eira into meeting her other friends and helped Eira open up.

Eira struggled when she started high school, as all little first years do. Her friend dragged her to a group of friends she'd made and Eira gladly took her place, falling silent in the crowd. She made a few  new friends. But none so close to her as Ceejay was like Jinx turned out to be. For three years, Jinx, Ceejay and Eira were the Three musketeers, the three stooges, It didn't matter, they were the three close friends. Things tended to happen in threes. Of course, there were other friends. Plenty of other friends, but none so close as these two

And now, 17 years old, Eira has two amazing best friends, about five close friends but about 20 all together. She's opened up a lot. But she still cant put her hand up in class.
