I write fiction that is based on my own experiences and interesting topics I research. I have researched witchdoctors, lost civilizations and hypnosis so far. The "Remember the Future" youth series is about 3 children, who invent a time-travel device and end up 12,000 year in the past. It's different to what the reader might expect and what makes it so exciting is that I used actual research into prehistory to develop the background to the series. I also write stories based on my experiences in other countries, mainly Africa where I now live. "Singing Lizards" is such a novel, which is also available in German. In my day-job, I work as a sworn translator and occasionally as a lecturer. I have 2 grown-up children and live with my family in Johannesburg/South Africa.
