I've lived in the country parts of the U.S. almost my whole life. My family works hard for what we want, but the reward is always worth it. I think this impacts my writing because the settings in my stories are usually more country than big city. My characters are hard working and don't give up easily. 

Major life experiences I've had include when I was bit by a dog when I was younger. I believe I can see it in my characters being more cautious around animals they don't know and new situations. 

People should fight for what they believe in. They shouldn't care what others may think, it is hard sometimes though. My characters are usually unique and stand up for what they believe, but also know when to step back and let others have the spotlight. It's ok to be curious, curiosity may have killed the cat- but satisfaction brought it back. The situations I put my characters into may be dangerous, but at the end of the day they're a little bit stronger. 

I enjoy fantasy and dystopian type books. Marie Lou, Rick Riordan, Lois Lowry, Veronica Roth. Some of my favorite books include Mindwalker by A.J Steiger, Half lives by Sara Grant, and Greek Gods by Rick Riordan. I try to put my characters into more adventurous and dystopian settings that I know will challenge them. 

Usually my writing tends to be exciting and fast paced. Or at least I try. An ocean of ideas in my head and only a small bucket to transfer it. My characters are usually on the sarcastic side though. They always want something, even if it's small. I do tend to use a lot of commas to break up sentences. So they end up being kind of long and wordy till I fix it. The humor is dark as the magic and I try to blend in a few metaphors every now and then.
