Today I've officially put The Dreamer back into Draft. It dawned on me that I don't want anyone reading my old, first version, because I'm way too critical of it and am completely re-writing it anyway. By the end of the re-write, the story will be the same (pretty much) as will most characters. But now I believe it'll so much better xx
Hi followers! It's been a really long time because of a horribly busy schedule at work, but things are speeding up again now (I hope)! And I hope The Dreamer will very soon be out of it's first-fully-completed-draft stage. Fingers crossed! I'm trying not to buckle under the frustration! I hope you're all making much better progress than I have been! =) x

I haven't seen anything from you on Wattpad in a really long time, so I thought I'd check up on how the big edit is going :) Are you getting through it in amongst your busy schedule?
@JDBryce Hi!!! I'm doing okay, thanks, and yourself? Yeah, I'm not on Wattpad as much as I used to be--I just log the number of reads on The Dreamer every night and that's it. Still in the big edit stage, which is frustrating. Work is stealing so much time from me. But I'm slowly speeding up again, so I'm thinking positively. =)

Thanks for mentioning Angel of Fire in a reply to JDBryce. That was really sweet of you. So sorry I haven't kept up with your story. We've been buddies ever since I first joined Wattpad. Like you, I'm hard at work polishing and editing book one of AoF in preparation to bring Chaos to the world through self-publishing. I like the idea of being in the driver's seat. Don't have to get permission to choose my book cover, or be told to change the story.

Hi Leanne :) I was following The Dreamer pretty much from start to finish and loved it. Of course, the later chapters can't even be compared to the early chapters which had been edited and reworked, so I'm excited to see how the later drafts look. How is your editing going? We all know what a schlep editing can be, haha.
@JDBryce Thank you for being so interested! I'll certainly send a message to my Followers (the Dreamers, as I call them =P) when it's all edited. Hopefully that'll be the precursor to starting to upload Part 2 =D Wow! Let me know if you ever upload it again! I'd like to read more of it! And unfortunately I haven't found any books to recommend yet =( I have dozens in my Library that I'm yet to start and sound amazing though. ...On saying that, one story that I'm eager to return to is Angel of Fire by @Somerlea ! And fantasy is my drug, too!! =) x
@JDBryce It has been a long time! I come onto Wattpad about once a month, so conversations are difficult to maintain. That's great. As long as it's constantly moving forward, it'll be done eventually. Let me know when the revised edition is up so that I can read it again. It will be interesting to see how close you come to a publishable quality after some proper editing, because the chapters you edited a bit before already had a very professional feel to them :) I haven't got 'The Other Side' on Wattpad, but I'm working on it as often as possible. I've got about 150 000 words at the moment, if I'm not mistaken. There's nothing quite as exciting as creating a whole new world, and it's permanently expanding. Fantasy is my drug, haha.

So, I've decided to hell with it and have marked The Dreamer as "Completed" even though I'm in the middle of going through the whole thing and making enormous edits. (Seriously. I'm actually editing practically EVERY SENTENCE.) I can't believe I've let it sit and stew in its second/third-draft format (or "Story Progression 8" as I've called it on my computer) for so long. It's a real experience going back through it all and noticing all the wording I can change and tighten, and inserting some tidbits that I couldn't insert when halfway through uploading the story. I guess it shows I'm learning? I hope so.
Anyway, I guess it's back to my prologue I go again. Happy reading and writing, everyone =) x
"Chapter 39 - Wide Awake" of The Dreamer is now uploaded! And that's Part One of Born of Fire now completed! =O
Now I intend to go right back through the whole thing and do some much-needed editing (which I've been putting off for over a year now!). I also need to seriously start on my proper book cover, and start preparing Born of Fire Part 2 for uploading in due course!
This chapter is very short, I'm afraid, though I always intended it to be so. But I have some notes on things I yet want to add to it, so this weekend will see a little more work being done to it and a couple of the chapters before it. I hope you enjoy it!
And I'm going to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all of my readers! I hope you stick around to see what happens to Lynaya next—there's exciting stuff coming!

"Chapter 38 - The Fire Come To Life" is now uploaded, and it's my last upload of 2014! I'll have my next part up tomorrow (the 1st of January 2015!), and that will be the last chapter of Born of Fire Part One! (I like the significance of posting this last chapter on New Year's Day =P) .

“Chapter 37 – Questions and Answers” is now uploaded! And you’ll get exactly what it says on the tin—Lynaya has lots of questions, and she’s finally going to get them answered!
It’s actually 4.30am here in the UK, so I’m only a few minutes away from face-planting my keyboard. But I promised myself I’d get this chapter up before I go to bed; that way, I can work on Ch38 throughout today ready for uploading some time tomorrow *fingers crossed*.
I hope you enjoy this chapter! I feel like I’ll go back and edit it very soon though. There are a few bits that I feel could be better!
