I realize I'm not very good at this biography, about page stuff. I'll just start with the basics. I have loved writing and reading ever since I can remember. I was homeschooled by my mother who loved to read old english literature. I grew up with fantastical notions of love and romance thanks Pride and Prejudice and Romeo and Juliet. A Tree Grows in Brooklyn and Hitty's First One Hundred Years encouraged imagination. But, nothing sparked that creative side quite like Fantasy and Science Fiction did. I burned through Fantasy books like my own personal supply of gasoline to my fire of creation. As for Science Fiction I was very picky. Lately, I have come to understand the genre of Science Fiction that I prefer is called Space Opera. Hardcore Science Fiction was okay but it read too much like a college science book and I preferred to not relive those days. I liked action, drama, and touching story arcs that made me fall in love with the characters. I found it difficult to find those types of stories in the Science Fiction side of the bookstore and started writing my own. I believe that is how most writers get started. They start off as readers with a craving for a certain kind of story and when they can't find it they make it. That is still how I feel about every story I've started or written.
